laboratories, and learning spaces safe for students, staff, and visitors.
General Safety Rules
Follow staff instructions during emergencies, drills, or restricted access situations.
Keep walkways, exits, and common areas clear of obstacles.
Report hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Do not bring weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials onto campus.
Supervise visitors and ensure they follow campus guidelines.
Lab & Equipment Safety
Use computers, networking, and lab equipment only as instructed.
Do not attempt unauthorised hardware modifications or power-related experiments.
Shut down systems properly and keep workstations tidy after use.
Follow faculty guidance for any practical sessions involving specialised tools.
Emergency Preparedness
Know the nearest emergency exits and assembly points for your classroom/lab.
In case of fire, medical emergency, or security threat, alert staff and call emergency services if needed.
Cooperate fully during evacuations and do not re-enter until cleared by authorised personnel.
Vehicle & Premises Access
Where vehicle access or parking is permitted, students and visitors must follow posted rules and
any institute vehicle pass requirements. Unauthorised entry or unsafe driving on campus may lead
to access restrictions.
